La Casa de Joy, a luxury "straw bale" home has been featured on HGTV, in home tours, and in home magazines. It is the tallest straw bale home in Texas, and architecuraly unique. This romantic home is perfect for a romantic getaway. It is designed to sleep two, however bedding may be added to sleep up to four.
Our cottage can be divided into private one, two, or three bedroom suites that will sleep up to six.
The Bungalows at Living Waters were designed by famed architect Marley Porter (click for Marley's website). Marley is well known for his "earth friendly" designs, and was the architect for One World Theater as well as other Austin area landmarks. Words cannot describe this incrediable home built of straw bale contruction. It has been featured on many home tours as well as the HGTV episode,"Straw with Style, Dream Builder Edition" and the cover of Natural Home Magazine. There are two living areas with a viewing tower and deck on the third floor. Santa Fe style contruction has stabalized earthen floors with hand set stones on the main floor, and pecan wood on the upper floors. This home features a soaring entry and a corner stone fireplace in the great room. The covered porch has a wonderful view of the lake and corner fireplace with hand painted tiles. J&K's Cottage
The perfect little cottage to spend a weekend, or spend a week! Cozy two story cottage available as one, two, or three bedrooms. Satellite television, large sitting rooms, and large covered porch. Come relax at any of the multiple sitting areas, including a deck down by the water, stone patio overlooking the lake, and boat dock down by the water (please check boat dock availabitly when making your reservation). Lynn's Bunkhouse
COMING SOON: Lynn's Bunkhouse has two bunk beds to sleep four. The Bunkhouse connects to The Loft with decks, and may be rented individually, or with The Loft (perfect for a "Girl's Weekend", or family). The Bunkhouse has a glass with views of the lake.
